Coral Works
Continuing the exploration of patterns and textures.
These coral plagues are approximate 30cm in diameter and are designed to hang on the wall.
I realised early on that whatever design i came up with nature had already done it.
This allowed me to be free with the glazes using them like paint allowing the firing cycle to influence the final design which in turn is influenced by the thickness of the glaze.
I sometimes add gold leaf,
